In the final senatorial survey conducted by Social Weather Stations (SWS) before the May 12, 2025 midterm elections, ACT-CIS Party-list Representative Erwin Tulfo leads the race with 45% voter preference. Close behind is reelectionist Senator Christopher “Bong” Go, who garnered 43% support.
The survey, conducted from May 2 to 6, 2025, in partnership with Stratbase, reflects a highly competitive contest between the top candidates. Tulfo’s consistent performance in earlier polls underscores his strong appeal among Filipino voters.
Other notable names making it to the top 12 include incumbent Senator Lito Lapid, former Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III, and Senator Pia Cayetano. Several candidates aligned with the current administration are also performing strongly, occupying multiple spots in the so-called “Magic 12.”
The nationwide survey involved 1,800 registered voters and has a margin of error of ±2.31%.
As the midterm elections approach, these results offer valuable insight into voter sentiment and hint at the potential composition of the next Senate.
